Brassica napus (Rape) is a species of annual herb in the family crucifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves, yellow flowers, and loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Buff-tailed bumblebee, Empis, Andrenine bee, and cabbage butterfly. Individuals can grow to 4 feet.
