Lythrum californicum (California Loosestrife) is a species of perennial herb in the family Lythraceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States. They have loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Toxomerus, Checkered White, Melissodes, and Angeles Striped Sweat Bee.
