Epilobium ciliatum is a species of perennial herb in the family Onagraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Borneo, Alaska, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Apis mellifera and Glaucopsyche lygdamus. Individuals can grow to 0.76 m.
