Punica granatum (Pomegranate) is a species of tree in the family Lythraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves and orange flowers. Flowers are visited by Western Tiger Swallowtail. Individuals can grow to 20 feet.
