Ziziphus jujuba is a species of shrub in the family Rhamnaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Asia. They have simple, broad leaves and drupes. Flowers are visited by Apis mellifera and Vespa tropica. Individuals can grow to 15 m.
