Sphaeralcea ambigua (Desert Globemallow) is a species of perennial herb in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Western North America, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and orange flowers. Flowers are visited by Chlosyne californica, Acmaeodera latiflava, Honey bee, and Bird Hover Fly. Individuals can grow to 5 feet.
