Cicuta maculata (Spotted Water Hemlock) is a species of biennial herb in the family umbellifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Alaska, Canada, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Parasitoid wasp, Alabagrus sanctus, Priocnemoides, and Monochrysis.
