Zizia aurea (Golden Zizia) is a species of perennial herb in the family Apiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Euschistus ictericus, Northern Paper Wasp, Chlorops, and Onthophagus pennsylvanicus. Individuals can grow to 0.67 m.
