Phlox pilosa (Downy Phlox) is a species of perennial herb in the family Polemoniaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Canada and the contiguous United States. Downy Phlox has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Acmaeodera tubulus (Fabricius 1801). Downy Phlox is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 0.6 m.
