Chilopsis linearis (desert willow) is a species of tree in the family bignonias. It has simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Ruby-throated hummingbird, gray hairstreak, Pipevine Swallowtail, and Costa's Hummingbird. It is a photoautotroph.
