Chilopsis linearis (Desert Willow) is a species of tree in the family bignonias. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, North America, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves, purple flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Acmaeodera pubiventris lanata, Western Tiger Swallowtail, Pipevine Swallowtail, and Western Carpenter Bee. Individuals can grow to 8.2 m.
