Cynoglossum officinale (Gypsyflower) is a species of biennial herb in the family Boraginaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Germany, Finland, Lithuania, Armenia, Estonia, Spain, Albania, France, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine, Belarus, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Ireland, Denmark, Austria, United Kingdom, Yugoslavia, Sweden, Belgium, Norway, Russia, Iran, Italy, Greece, Poland, and Switzerland. Gypsyflower has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Monarch. Gypsyflower is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 0.54 m.
