They are native to AmazôNia, Pernambuco, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande Do Norte, Roraima, Ceará, GoiáS, Tocantins, Pará, Maranhao, Acre (Brazil), Puerto Rico, US Minor Outlying Islands, Mata Atlântica, U.S. Virgin Islands, Amapá, Cerrado, Mato Grosso, and RondôNia.
