Pinguicula vulgaris (Common Butterwort) is a species of perennial herb in the family Lentibulariaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, The Contiguous United States, Greenland, Canada, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Boloria euphrosyne. Individuals can grow to 0.044 m.
