Found on 22 Oct 2014 near the River Fynn at Martlesham, East Suffolk, TM252473. ID by John Carr and Johanna A. van Erkelens (see www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thre...) and confirmed by Michael Ackland (in private email) who provided the following details. Delia platura is actually the world's commonest Anthomyiid! It is found on all continents of the world, and is a pest of various cruciferous farm plants.
