Thymelaea hirsuta is a species of shrub in the family Thymelaeaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by sweat bees, Black scavenger fly, drone fly, and Cluster flies. Individuals can grow to 0.8 m.
