Ceiba speciosa (Silk Floss Tree) is a species of tree in the family Malvaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Mata Atlântica, Amazônia, Paraná, Caatinga, Pará, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Cerrado, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso do Sul, Espirito Santo, and São Paulo. Ceiba speciosa has broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 4.7 m.
