It is native to Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Distrito Federal, Pantanal, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso, Paraná, Bahia, Goiás, Espirito Santo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, Tocantins, Amazônia, Amazônia, Caatinga, Minas Gerais, and Rio Grande do Sul. Endlicheria paniculata has simple, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 4 m.
