They are native to Mata AtlâNtica, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Ceará, Pará, AmazôNia, Acre (Brazil), Amapá, Bahia, Cerrado, Espirito Santo, and AmazôNia. They have simple, simple leaves. Individuals can grow to 18 m. They have variable sexual system.
