Allophylus edulis is a species of shrub in the family Sapindaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to SãO Paulo, Pantanal, Cerrado, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Norte, Minas Gerais, Tocantins, Mata Atlântica, Paraná, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Alagoas, Pará, Sergipe, Caatinga, Piauí, Rio Grande Do Sul, Bahia, GoiáS, Amazônia, Ceará, ParaíBa, Maranhao, Rio De Janeiro, Espirito Santo, and Pernambuco. They have compound, broad leaves and drupes. Individuals can grow to 5.1 m.
