Bathytoshia centroura (Rough Tailed Stingray) is a species of Myliobatiformes in the family whiptail stingrays. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN. They are native to Mediterranean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, The Nearctic, Ethiopia, the Palearctic, and The Neotropics. They are carnivores. Individuals can grow to 300 cm. Reproduction is ovoviviparous and iteroparous. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming to move around.
