Acalypha persimilis (Hophornbeam Copperleaf) is a species of annual herb in the family Euphorbiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands, The Contiguous United States, and Puerto Rico. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Abaeis nicippe and Hylephila phyleus.
