Hexasepalum sarmentosum (Tropical Buttonweed) is a species of shrub in the family Rubiaceae. They are climbers. They have a procumbent growth form. They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, Mato Grosso, SãO Paulo, Mata Atlântica, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Norte, Bahia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Pernambuco, Ceará, Tocantins, Sergipe, Pará, Amapá, Puerto Rico, Distrito Federal, Cerrado, GoiáS, Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais, ParaíBa, Rio De Janeiro, U.S. Virgin Islands, Alagoas, Caatinga, and Piauí. They have simple, broad leaves.
