Davilla nitida is a species of shrub in the family Dilleniaceae. They are climbers. They are native to Ceará, ParaíBa, The Neotropics, Maranhao, Bahia, Cerrado, Espirito Santo, AmazôNia, Sergipe, Distrito Federal, Tocantins, Amapá, Acre (Brazil), Rio Grande Do Norte, Roraima, SãO Paulo, Mato Grosso, GoiáS, Pará, Piauí, Minas Gerais, RondôNia, Mata Atlântica, Pernambuco, Rio De Janeiro, and Mato Grosso Do Sul. They have simple, broad leaves and loculicidal capsule fruit.
