Bistorta vivipara vivipara (Alpine Bistort) is a subspecies of perennial herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Greenland, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Individuals can grow to 1 feet.
