Turritella (Turret Shell) is a genus of Gastropoda in the family turret shell. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Dead Turret Shell form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 31 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
