Synedrella nodiflora (Nodeweed) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Alagoas, Espirito Santo, Amazônia, Piauí, Tocantins, Maranhao, Acre (Brazil), Mato Grosso do Sul, Caatinga, Ceará, São Paulo, Mato Grosso, Pernambuco, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Amapá, Bahia, Rondônia, Paraíba, Santa Catarina, Amazônia, Rio Grande do Norte, Rio de Janeiro, Sergipe, Rio Grande do Sul, Pará, Goiás, and Paraná. Nodeweed has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Meliponula ferruginea (Lepeletier). Nodeweed is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 6.3 m.
