Zinnia peruviana is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Amazilia violiceps, Agraulis vanillae incarnata, Danaus plexippus, and queen. Individuals can grow to 0.45 m.
