This is the group traditionally referred to as the naked lobose amoebae. Amoeboid forms only known, no flagellated stages, cysts but no spore-bearing structures; pseudopodia usually rounded, but may be conical or be thin arising from the hyaline region; with one pseudopodium or many, from marine, freshwater and coild habitats.
