Iris missouriensis (Rocky Mountain Iris) is a species of perennial herb in the family Iridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as of special concern by COSEWIC. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves, purple flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Polites sabuleti draco, Rocky Mountain Parnassian, Western Tiger Swallowtail, and Chironomus macani. Individuals can grow to 0.37 m.
