Sambucus racemosa (Red Berried Elder) is a species of shrub in the family Adoxaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to United States, The Contiguous United States, Western North America, Alaska, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves and drupes. Flowers are visited by Evodinus monticola, hummingbirds, and Cosmosalia chrysocoma. Individuals can grow to 2.8 m.
