Nicotiana alata (Jasmine Tobacco) is a species of perennial herb in the family nightshades. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Santa Catarina, Paraná, Rio Grande Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Mata AtlâNtica, and Pampa. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Eupeodes corollae (Fabricius 1794) and Small garden bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 1.5 m.
