Ovula ovum (Common Egg Cowrie) is a species of Gastropoda in the family false cowries. Common Egg Cowrie form shallow marine sediments. It is a sessile prey feeder. Individuals can grow to 31.7 g. Common Egg Cowrie has sexual reproduction.
