Rumex acetosa (Common Sorrel) is a species of perennial herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Alaska, Greenland, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Individuals can grow to 0.43 m.
