Vaccinium vitis-idaea (Lingonberry) is a species of shrub in the family Ericaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Alaska, United States, Greenland, The Contiguous United States, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Andrena helvola, Nomada flava, Lasioglossum minutissimum, and Bombus monticola. Individuals can grow to 1 feet.
