Arnica montana (mountain arnica) is a herbaceous species of plant in the family Asteraceae, with a self-supporting growth habit. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Canadian Tiger Swallowtail, Sympistis, Large Red-tailed Humble-bee, and Marmalade hoverfly. It is a photoautotroph.
