Symphyotrichum chilense (Pacific Aster) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, The Contiguous United States, Canada, The Americas, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Yellow-faced Bumblebee, Ochlodes yuma, Vanessa cardui, and Pearl Crescent. Individuals can grow to 0.99 m.
