Dendromecon rigida is a species of tree in the family Papaveraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Lytta stygica, sweat bees, and Halictus farinosus.
