Christella dentata (Pai'i'iho) is a species of perennial herb in the family Thelypteridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, Alagoas, Mato Grosso, Maranhao, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, Bahia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, The Contiguous United States, Minas Gerais, Espirito Santo, RondôNia, Distrito Federal, Pará, GoiáS, SãO Paulo, Ceará, Pantanal, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, ParaíBa, and Pernambuco. They have compound, broad leaves. They have alternation of generations.
