Psilotum nudum (Whisk Fern) is a species of perennial herb in the family whisk ferns. They are native to Pantanal, Bahia, Acre (Brazil), Sergipe, Caatinga, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Distrito Federal, Pará, AmazôNia, Cerrado, The Contiguous United States, Mato Grosso, ParaíBa, Espirito Santo, Mata AtlâNtica, U.S. Virgin Islands, Santa Catarina, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Minas Gerais, Tocantins, Pampa, Puerto Rico, Rio Grande Do Sul, RondôNia, GoiáS, Paraná, Pernambuco, SãO Paulo, Hawaii, Rio De Janeiro, Maranhao, AmazôNia, and Ceará. They have alternation of generations.
