They are native to The Contiguous United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada, Rio Grande Do Norte, Sergipe, Ceará, Roraima, Alagoas, Pernambuco, Bahia, ParaíBa, Caatinga, AmazôNia, and North America. They have simple, simple leaves.
