Persicaria pensylvanica (Pinkweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, The Contiguous United States, South America, Canada, and Alaska. They have simple, broad leaves, red flowers, and achenes. Flowers are visited by Pseudodoros clavatus, Reakirt's Blue, Libythea, and Saygorytes phaleratus. Individuals can grow to 1.2 m.
