Cerastium arvense (Field Chickweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family carpetweeds. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Alaska, the contiguous United States, Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, Canada, Greenland, eastern north america, and western north america. Field Chickweed has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Adela septentrionella Walsingham 1880. Field Chickweed is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 0.095 m.
