Isatis tinctoria (Dyer's Woad) is a species of biennial herb in the family Brassicaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America. They have simple, simple leaves. Flowers are visited by speckled wood, Valgus hemipterus, Attalus minimus, and diamondback moth. Individuals can grow to 0.72 m.
