Isatis tinctoria (Dyer's Woad) is a species of biennial herb in the family crucifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Valgus hemipterus, Syritta pipiens, Tenthredo flaveola, and Osmia bicornis. Individuals can grow to 0.72 m.
