It is native to eastern north america, Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, United States, and North Korea. Autumn Olive has simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Honey bee. Autumn Olive fixes nitrogen. It is a photoautotroph.
