Polygala paniculata (Orosne) is a species of shrub in the family Polygalaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN. They are native to Pará, Caatinga, Alagoas, Santa Catarina, ParaíBa, Pampa, GoiáS, Ceará, Maranhao, Sergipe, Puerto Rico, Bahia, Mato Grosso, Amazônia, Pernambuco, Paraná, Distrito Federal, Piauí, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Espirito Santo, Rio De Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Cerrado, Rio Grande Do Sul, Roraima, SãO Paulo, and Mata Atlântica. They have simple, broad leaves and samaras. Individuals can grow to 1.4 m.
