Garcinia gardneriana is a species of tree in the family clusoids. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Bahia, Amazônia, Rio De Janeiro, SãO Paulo, Pernambuco, Paraná, Pará, Roraima, Ceará, Mato Grosso, Espirito Santo, Caatinga, Minas Gerais, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Acre (Brazil), Cerrado, Rio Grande Do Sul, Santa Catarina, Alagoas, and GoiáS. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 30 m.
