Bidens laevis (Smooth Beggartick) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mata AtlâNtica, Rio Grande Do Sul, Eastern North America, Pampa, North America, Santa Catarina, Paraná, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Epicauta cinerea, Bumble Bees, Triepeolus simplex, and Gulf Fritillary. Individuals can grow to 3.3 feet.
