Liatris punctata (Dotted Blazing Star) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, United States, Eastern North America, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Common Branded Skipper, (page not found), Aphrodite Fritillary, and Burnsius communis. Individuals can grow to 0.61 m.
