They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and North America. They have yellow flowers and achenes. Flowers are visited by Five-banded Thynnid Wasp, Pugnacious Leaf-cutter Bee, Acanthoscelides pallidipennis, and Eastern Hornet Fly. Individuals can grow to 8.199999999999999 feet.
