Frontoniine ciliates, oral nematodesmata not a ring around mouth, more prominent to side and posterior to mouth; typically 3 long, large polykinetids in oral cavity; several ophryokineties to right of oral cavity, which is in anterior 1/2 to 1/3 of body; cytostome may expand along postoral suture.
